I've been pretty stressed lately. Lots of things happening at home, in school, and with friends. One thing that has really been bugging me is the grade i got on a recent College Algebra test. After our professor decided to grade on a curve i ended up with a B...but i don't usually get B's, so it was a shock. It made me realize that i had to figure out a better way to study the things we're learning in class, because the prof doesn't assign homework, she just gives quizzes and tests. Anyways, today as i was walking to class i found myself thinking, "Wow, if i can't even do well in a College Algebra class, how am i ever going to get through college? How am i going to pass the super hard classes required for nursing?" And then i stopped and all of the sudden phrase popped into my head- "Give yourself a break!" I realized that this is really the first experience i've had with a challenging college class... i'll improve on my studying skills with practice. There is no reason to stress out about a silly B.
That was the most freeing moment of my day.
